Need help with sprays.

Can someone please teach me how to use sprays? (I tried selecting one but it didn't work)

Usually, sprays won't work correctly unless they're .vtf format or .jpg or such things.

If you already knew this I'm sorry.

Yes, make sure they are the correct format and also make sure you have a button bound to spray in game.

IIRC, t is the default key, so unless you've messed with your bindings you should be fine.

Can you help me too? For the past few years I haven't been able to see sprays.

Darth, that is probably a graphical setting on your end. When you lower the graphics settings, the game starts omitting things like bullet decals, sprays, and small effects. For instance, when I run the game on my laptop, I can't see sprays either. If I remember correctly, you can override that in the advanced options in game, or you can raise the graphics settings. Try that, and see if that helps.

if ur making a .gif spray make sure u edit the format threw gimp (the artist editor and drawing .exe)

Aren't you supposed to just put every single frame in the VTF?

Also, the spray might be too large if you can't see it in-game. I forget the size you're limited to though.

Checked and checked numerous times, everything is just enabled, clearly I pissed Gabe off and now he doesn't want me to see sprays anymore
