I've been a Linux user for close to 20 years now. Back when all you had was Slackware and the install was a PIA that took days and a system admin book..no point and click GUI's back then.

I may try to install Steam Beta on one of my work Linux boxes.

I may try to install Steam Beta on one of my work Linux boxes.

I go back to Dec Ultrex (unix). First Linux was Red Hat ( early, I don't. Remember). A few rpms but mostly source code tarballs.

Linux = Unix for free! What a concept! LOL!

Ahh yes, the forgotten joy of trying to keep all those diskettes organized. Be in the middle of an install then forgotten where you placed disk x3 or d5 or any of the 50+ others.

I've always been curious about meddling with Linux, but the lack of game support has always turned me away. This is a great boon to Linux, in my opinion.
