"Rocket chaining" is not allowed?

Just for clarification:

Shooting a rocket, then pushing R and timing the reload so you corner as reload finishes.

Is this allowed? I and others who actually know how to not waste the rocket class have been doing it forever practically. Today "EGO Got hit reg" on avalanche randomly said it hasn't been allowed ever and kicked me.

However, I do believe it has more to do with him taking a rocket to the face and not approving of it, more so than some random rule made up on a whim.

I do not have an answer to this question, but your best bet to receive a response in short time is to place it in the Dropbox so that leadership will look at it immediately.

I don't understand your concern. If you know the timing of a rocket takes to reload then for all mean go ahead and use it to better play the class. If you can shoot them time yourself to reload before firing again id say you are just playing the class.

He said that "rocket chaining" was not allowed. I continued to do it and he booted me from spectator. This is the first time I heard of the term "rocket chaining" and the first time I have been told that one is not allowed to reload the RPG after firing it.

Because you have 2 options after firing a rocket:
1) Un-deploy and then reload
2) Or, keep rocket deployed and then reload while deployed (at the cost of being frozen in place for a bit after firing until the reload sequence starts after which you can move at full speed during the reload). <--- This is what he is saying is not allowed. Which to me makes no sense whatsoever because anyone who plays rocket probably does this from time to time, even if they aren't aware of it. Basically, an unenforceable rule that's open to interpretation. IE. "I don't like the fact your killed me so let me make this rule up"

To me it seems equal to being good at quickswitching with rifles. Its part of the game that doesnt require any changing of files to be able to do it. Common sense tells me that it should be okay
