Meh, when stuff like this happens I usually just change my password, make sure there's nothing on there that could screw me over IRL, and move on. The problem is the cloud, not the security. Most people think the cloud is this wonderful thing, and yes in some aspects it is. But it's also a winner-takes-all for hackers. There is no way to make something absolutely secure, there's always a backdoor. It's just a matter of time before someone finds it.
And no one knows if it was even Origin that was hacked. I could almost put money that it was facebook or twitter that got hacked, and they just happened to have the same password on both, which becomes user-stupidity just as much as lack of security.
