Ok, so after I recently found out I can hook up a XBOX controller to a PC and start playing like that. Just wondering if anyone plays with a seperate controller, on a actual TV? or anything differen't from just a PC/Laptop/Mac and a mouse with the usual 2 buttons and a scroller thing in the middle?

If you ask me, console controllers are abysmal compared to a mouse and keyboard. Controllers are to clunky :/

i haven't played console games since PS2. Classic PC is the way for me.

I like Mouse+Keyboard a lot more, i tried playing CoD: MW3 on PS3 its hell same with GTA: IV.

I used to use a controller back when I played the 360 version of TF2. I was actually pretty good at using it until I got spoiled by mouse & keyboard. It's pretty easy once you get used to it.

Dude, console players are starting to use a keyboard and mouse and you want to use a controller in the PC? :O

I have never played with a console controller on the PC, but I kinda want to try, especially using Steam's Big Picture. I will still prefer the mouse and keyboard though.

Problem is, I have a wireless 360 controller, so I need an adapter if I want to hook it up to my laptop... :/

Mouse? I just use a keyboard. Arrow keys were good enough for Doom so they're good enough for TF2

I often play N64 roms with a USB controller. It's pretty fun. Recently beat Ocarina of Time again (for the Nth time, who knows).

Due to the anti-wasting-life nature of my parents, I do not own a console.

But despite that, I have learned to use a controller quite well. But I just can't imagine how you can play TF2 on it. So many binds....
