Been a while since I posted here, but figured I'd give a shout out to a project being crowdfunded that I've been following for a while now:

Since it's already at the $4 million plus dollar point this will be funded for sure, but I'm thinking we may need to get a squadron or flotilla together once this comes out.

From the guys that did Wing Commander and Tachyon (if I understand right) comes this.

Yeah, it's going to be good. Good is an understatement!

They've already beat their kick starter goal of $2M. Actually doubled to be honest. It's funny to read the crowd-funding goals and the additional rewards they'll give. They keep having to add more and more rewards and higher and higher fundraising goals.

P.S. Forgot to add. RSI vowed that this game will NOT be a subscription game, nor have the freemium model (pay to win).

Final total = 6.23 million dollars raised. Holy Kilralthi litter box cookies I never expected that. And for the record, you can now call me Colonel, and I'll see you in the black with my shiny new Avril Hornet on release day.

I'm seriously thinking about contributed to a package either Colonel or Rear Admiral.

I'm so proud to help fund this project. I've still got my eye on higher tiers, like the Colonel tier;) I realllyyy like the style and weapons included with the Hornet:D 'nother note, I'm hoping that I see some eGO support out there (I'm looking at the EVE fans mostly) to run events with:D

The Colonel had the better starship for my play style, however the Freelancer one looked like a very nice transport for both exploration and piracy.
