<div style="width: 500px; text-align: center" align="center">What if future combat met Battlefield 3 with more customization and bigger maps? What if the battles could have more than 64 players? Well that's what PlanetSide 2 is all about.
PlanetSide 2 is Sony Online Entertainment's sequel to the groundbreaking Planetside Franchise. The battle continues from the previous universe with three factions: The authoritarian empire of the Terran Republic, the separatist rebels in the New Conglomerate and the transhuman/alien-inspired Vanu Sovereignty. Each faction has a unique set of weapons and vehicles from powered armor inspired MAX suits, to tanks and bombers, to huge 12-man airborne infantry dropships.
The aim is to fight for control of fortresses and territories with huge battles supporting hundreds of players in a single area and thousands of players across different continents on the same server. These territorial battles control resources that allow players to purchase vehicles, restock on supplies, and provide reinforcements.
