Everyone knows Im the champ at being the best admin ever. Thats why one of my ban notes is "Asked me to ban him, couldn't refuse."
^Good to have you, mau5.
One of the reasons why I love DOD is because there is a good community here. It is very small but you can feel a community. I am not sure how it is in other games but I cannot see other games having the same community. I know people in DOD, they know me, and when I go and play on other servers, or they go to others, we know each other.
People know who I am. It is sometimes a nice feeling to go to a server I usually do not go to and people there recognize me and say hello to me. One of my steam friends (Morrie) plays with another DOD player, Max, often. He noticed that when he plays DOD by himself some people ask him the question, "hey, Morrie, where is Max?". So it is a nice feeling when you play with players that you somewhat know. It is not some random people every different day, but usually a consistent group of people that you know. So when I play DOD I feel like I am playing in a club where I know people and they know me.
Maybe the curse of DOD being such a tiny game is a blessing in a way. Because it is so small there can be such a good community that other games simply cannot have for having way too many players.
