Steam redownloading CoD?

After finally I finished downloading all of CoD Black ops 2, I managed to squeeze in 30mins of multiplayer before work. Well, after work I came home( same day) only to find its reinstalling the multiplayer(3.1gigs). So i was like ok, ill leave it on overnight. Well, it got to 99% so i figured itll finish when i get off work...WRONG I get home and BAM..Multiplayer update 0%..installing all 3 gigs again...and this time its also downloading the single player and zombies.

Try reinstalling the entire game.
