Hi guys,
Today I set about designing an edgeGamers theme for Google Chrome. Please check it out and tell me what you think! All suggestions are welcome. I used the theme creator GUI to make a preliminary base, and then replaced the images and gradients with my own from Photoshop. Anyway, here's the link to the theme:

(Also, I know my hi-res recreation of the main header is a bit inaccurate, it's still a WIP)

To do:
  • Lighten current tab background? I've heard it's a bit hard to read.
  • Lower edgeGamers banner on New Tab Page so as not to conflict with the bookmarks bar as much
  • Possibly create alternate higher-contrast theme?

White or gray tabs so there is some contrast would be nice. Also I would like to see the eGO logo near the bottom right become completely visible. I'm not that OCD but it does bother me a bit haha.
 
I like all of those ideas you have, and I think the theme looks excellent!
 
Well, I'll be doing a lot more work on it soon. I'll wait a little bit for Leadership to finish the current redesign of the website, and then I'll adjust the theme to the new logo style.

I'm going to get it now, but be sure to let us know when it's updated to we can all stay up to date with the style. :) Great work, Zeu5!

The great thing about Chrome themes is that they automatically update. As soon as I package and update the new version, you guys will get it the next time you restart Chrome.
 
Hey, Zeu5. I was curious to see if you'd had any intentions on updating the style? I'm still using it.
 
Yeah, but I've been a bit busy. Eagle Scout projects of a lot of my friends (and my own), applications for summer college programs, application for National Honor Society, Technology Student Association game design contest, etc.
I'll see if I can get some work done on it in my Photoshop class.
 
I wasn't aware you had so much on your plate. No need to rush, I was just curious of a future update.
