I have a serious problem

I have a serious problem I want to admit it to everyone. I buy a lot of indie games, but I never play them. Sure I buy them with the intention of playing them, but with the exception of Bastion and Hotline Miami, I haven't even booted them up. I have Limbo, Uplink, The Binding of Issac, Braid, Mark of the Ninja, and a couple others on my steam account or my XBLA account that have never been touch.

To make things worse I just purchased Dungeons of Dredmor for no reason what so ever. Sure I intend to play it at some point, but chances are it'll be sitting in my steam account collecting digital dust.

God...someone help me.

I see something on sale and I feel compelled to buy it. My library consists of 162 games(not counting DLC contect). 95 I have played for any amount of time. And only 16 I have played to completion.

My sympathies! Those indie games can be very tempting...

I bought a Humble Bundle (5 i believe) and have only played one or two games on it for about 10 minutes each xD

Yeah, it takes me awhile to get to them, but fire Limbo up when you got an hour to kill, that's really all that one requires.

And the Binding of Isaac is one of my all time favorite indie games, definitely worth checking out. Isaac consists of like 2 to 40 minute rounds (you die, you lose), taking around 30 minutes average to beat if you can live. So that one's always good if you got a few minutes to kill.

And Braid can take less than an hour to beat if you want it to, but there's a lot of side objectives and thinking involved, so it can get up to 5 hours or so.

I was going to jump into this thread with an outburst of how you absolutely must install Bastion, or at the very least Dungeons of Dredmor because of how easy to pick up and play the game is.
Then my uninstalled copies of Limbo and Cavestory+ reminded my not to be such a hypocrite.

I've found World of Goo (first humble bundle) and Limbo (some random humble bundle idk) to be pretty good.

Best Indie Games I have played: FTL: Faster than Light, Frozen Synapse, Terraria, Gratuitous Space Battles, Stellar Impact. All of those I have played for 10 or more (many many more in some cases) hours.

Indie Games I've barely played (less than 1-6 hours): Crayon Physics Deluxe, Defcon, Dungeon Defenders, Dustforce, Hoard, Legend of Grimrock, Magicka, Multiwinia (21 minutes), Recettear, Shadowgrounds: Survivor, SPAZ, Torchlight 1&2, Zombie Driver. It's a shame too because many of them are solid games.

I've played Nightsky to its completion, and while it's kind of a nifty idea it just feels like it can't really be called a 'game' to me.

Past that yeah, we really need a support group. I've grabbed nearly every HB available and still have ungodly amounts of games I haven't touched yet... Think my last Steam game count was up to 140 almost, and god knows it'll grow around Christmas...
