No question is dumb, however, my answer may be. You earn achievements by um earning them. Take a look at mine and you will see some examples, you earn them for recruiting, playing certain number of hours, joining certain groups, etc. If you are active in the community you will earn your fair share.

Or you can earn achievements for being Dr.Compton, like I've done!
But not all of us can be Dr.Compton, in fact most of us hate Dr.Compton! SO if you cant and/or dont want to be Dr.Compton then you can earn them by being Productive eGO Member. Most achievements are handed out by leadership because they feel like you deserve them (Or you bug them like Dr.Compton does) I got my Wrench Medal because I help out around the division, I got my Leo Medal by playing in multiple divisions. Some of my medals were gained by attending classes (Once you become an admin). So the best way to get these achievements is to be a Productive eGO Member, getting noticed for good things, and reminding leadership on a daily basis why you deserve these achievements via angry PMs and Rants.

"You earn achievements by um earning them. " epic wewo! lmao
Truth, everyone hates Dr.Compton!
Like wewo said, you'll earn the achievements by:
-Attending events(Which i rarely do
), -Being a regular on vent,
-Recruiting new people,
-playing DoDs for certain amount of hours
-Being active on the forums,
-Greeting new members in the PSC forums
-and so on.
Also, it is ok to hate Compton, He probably hates us all equally.

So far everyone, except for Perwild, is correct. The easiest way to earn achievements is to be a helpful, active member. Usually the first awards I tend to give out are the "DoD:S Saint" and "Ventrilo Regular" awards. So if you stay active in-game, on Vent, and on the forums you will be good to go. =)
So mean!!!
