Looking for help in regards to sound cards

Hey all...just ordered a pair of Sennheiser PC360's but I'm currently using onboard audio. I'm a major audiophile...but I'm really not all that well informed when it comes to computer sound cards. I was hoping someone who considers themselves an expert in this area would message me on Steam to answer a pile of questions and talk me through things.
