The Operation: X division presents:
=============================
At some workplaces casual attire is allowed on certain days to take away from the banality and monotony of the average man's unfulfilling yet desperately needed job. As per Op: X' unwritten and often randomly made up rules; Saturday is the day you can unbutton your custom tailored suit, unwind your double Windsor knotted Italian silk tie, and shoot freedom hating [people] in Arma II.
You're probably thinking "Who wouldn't buy Italian silk ties?" or maybe "Where's the 'casual' part come into play?" Well, it's simple-- we shoot anything that moves, hates freedom, or is within our maximum range in any (5ish) Arma II game modes. To add some professionalism to our Casual War Day business attire is mandatory but the game modes we play and the mods we play are more relaxed-- by that I mean we'll do what we want for your benefit and with your input.
Aside from Arma II (we'll just call it Combined Ops or CO), Operation Arrowhead (OA), and Day-Z, our diehard Arma fanatics have been trying out two new mods for CO/OA: Invasion '44 (I44) and Vietnam the Experience (VTE). I'm sure there are a bunch of other mods and junk we can try out but in the near future expect to see gameplay of CO, OA, I44, and VTE.

This Week's Mission:
This week we're getting our face-paint on rolling around in dirt and zoming up with cool call-signs for each other as we do some special forces action. Special forces?-- that's right, anything from Nam to Takistan we're rolling silent and deadly (I don't know how to write that without it sounding like a fart joke)!
However, if you guys overwhelmingly want to play something else we probably will.
*Update* The event this week will be held at 9:00 PM Eastern. Times are likely to change until we can find a nice comfy time slot.

What the heck is Casual War Day?

Basic Installation Instructions
Detailed instructions will be coming soon. For now, if you use Six Updater create a new Preset, right click on the preset and rename it, make sure to select "A2 OA Combined Ops (Forced)" in the dropdown for the selected preset, and in the Mods tab filter for @I44, then right click @I44 and select "Install or Update Mods and Process BIKeys". Repeat the same procedure (including making a new preset) for VTE by substituting @I44 with @VTE. To launch the mod, the addition of a Steam launch option is required (Below). Right click on Arma II, go to properties, then Launch options.
I44: -mod=@I44;@CBA;@CBA_OA;@CBA_A2
VTE: -mod=@VTE;@CBA;@CBA_OA;@CBA_A2
If you don't use Steam-- you're out of luck in this post, but I'm sure some knowledgeable Op: X members who know this stuff and who don't go by the name "Stormy" will be able to help.

P.S. The time for this event will be augmented again and again. I doubt anyone bothers to read all the way to the bottom; blah, blah, blah.
TL;DR SF at 9:00 PM Eastern. Kill stuff in Special Forces missions in a combo of I44, VTE, and OA.
