Potential players to Recuit on BC2

Other than talking to the player in team chat, BC2 doesn't have any Battlelog (whatever that is) to contact them by. Most players now don't use Steam or have themselves online, so in all it's not the best of environments to "have a chat" about joining.

Having said that would we be able to have a post where the players on Heavy Metal and HC could post up the names of players ie regulars that they think would be great for the division. Then take it from there...........

We need to get the new members here on forums for their ideas and input which will surly lead to growth.

Literally the first place to start is the top 50 players list; a significant number are not members but they play for a few hours almost every day.

The easiest recruitment method in game is just to ask in squad chat. I will try to get someone else to "notice" the player too, but I might just be thinking that the invitation will go over better if it comes from multiple sources at right about the same time.

Gameme is your friend when it comes to new recruits.

The #1 way to get people to say yes to joining is to do your research first. I run 2 monitors so when I am playing I can look up a pubbers name on my 2nd monitor which is running gameme. If I see multiple connections in the last few days I ask a questions like below.

"Hey *** are you there?"
(responce)
"I have noticed you around the last few days; do you enjoy our servers?"
(Positive responce)
"Ever think of joining eGO?"

From there you just need to sell eGO like its a product that they are looking to buy.

Well the princples are in the right place but we know who the regular pubbers are it just that thye don't really want to chat while playing.

Unless it's Kitten or Lady, and it took ages to get Lady in here.

When I'm not working I'm usually playing BC2, but, I think a lot of people would join if they're just asked. I was interested in joining eGO a long time ago, but, nobody asked. So I asked about joining, however, not everybody will come to you. Just my $.02.
