ok I thought the vidcard was going bad... so i shut down the system, and cleaned it all out really well with air. I then reseat everything and refire up the computer. and low and behold the vid card is working...(ok)
When i fired up CS:S i was getting a solid 60fps through firefights and the such... ( yes i have an old card, and that's what i get.)... but I noticed that at random times, the vid will stop, drop to 10fps for a split second, and then go back to normal.
There isn't really a rhyme or reason as to why or when this is happening. It could be when im standing still, or moving, firefight or scratching my butt. I am curious what other people thought the issue might be.
