Trojan?

When I downloaded DayZ I had a lot of fun playing it for two days. But then, my anit-virus popped up saying there was a Trojan and I think it may have been DayZ. Any Help?

Anyway, I doubt it's DayZ. That's a legit game for as far as I know. Haven't played it yet. I heard it's free? I'll give it a try and let you know.

DayZ is a mod for ARMA 2: Combined Ops. So while the mod itself is free, you need to own Combined Ops to play it, or already own ARMA2 and ARMA2 Operation Arrowhead. Depending on where you may have downloaded DayZ, if it's not from the official website, it is possible you could have downloaded it from a mirror site and that site is hosting the virus.

Sorry it's in the wrong section, but I got the web adress from the DL that has DayZ in their division. I think that when I downloaded it before, it might not have been the right "download" icon....

What did you use to download DayZ? I can help you because im familiar with dayz

What link did you use? Did you use the dayz.nu? I remember a while back the official dayz servers got hacked and were infected with malware. I thought they took the servers down but who knows. Get rid of the virus and DayZ and download DayZ Commander to get the game if you want.

So just download DayZ Commander? I got the Trojan from sixlauncher I think...
