... despite the practically unplayable lag on the Heavy Metal server tonite, it remained fairly populated with pubs and some of our members.

It actually made for some fun exchanges.

It certainly was, well, different. Nothing like backing up 10 yards for every 15 you sprint forward!

Both servers had a huge lag issue. HC Rush was unplayable, even when I was the only one on it.

Yup and are bc2 servers are empty because of it...

Nah.........same. But it needs to get fixed, asap. People aren't playing because of it.

Just got off work...had a 13 hour day. However, with that being said, last night I wasn't even able to log in to BC2 at all. So, maybe it has something to do with EA?

Can't swear to anything, but a couple of times in the past week Origin was down. When it was down, I couldn't get into my game.

Rush has been restarted. Heavy Metal has not since it was full when I went to restart Rush. A ticket has been put in to our server host about the lag issues. Hopefully we will have an answer soon.

Also if Origin is down then the EA login server is usually down which means you can't play online...
