In its fourth DLC release, Aftermath, Battlefield 3 is heading back to the streets of post-earthquake Iran for what EA Games is describing as a vertical and horizontal setting among the fissures and unexpected cover of the shattered urban districts.
Along with this new setting, the latest expansion will also be bringing a bunch of new features to the DICE shooter.</div>
Here's what's inside:

- Four new maps: Looks like you'll be climbing over rubble and around overturned cars if the campaign levels in the same setting are any indication.
- A new weapon: The crossbow, a silent but violent weapon with new assignments and dog tags.
- Three new vehicles: Including a modified civilian transport and a new armored vehicle.
- Scavenger Mode: an objective based conquest where players must brave the environment armed with only one sidearm, as they try to find more powerful weapons in an attempt to survive with their squad.</div>
Aftermath has been released this week for Premium Members and will be available on December 11 for PS3 non-premium members. Non-premium Xbox 360 and PC users will be able to grab the DLC a week later.
Brand New Server!
In celebration of the new DLC, eGO's Battlefield Division has introduced a brand new HC Aftermath Server with all new DLC maps and modes, including the new Scavenger game mode. The server is already online, so hop on and be one of the first to experience the Aftermath.
