THQ is giving away Metro 2033 for free on the PC. Don't know how long it will last though.

I can vouch for the graphics of this game. The game is super good, it's super scary tho. Play it at night.

It is a surprisingly good game and I have been caught off guard by a mutant more than once in the 4 hours I have played since installing, and by off guard I mean jumping up in my seat when one of them start gnawing on the back of my character. I wouldn't say its terrifying but the mutants definitely make you panic a little (for example, when they take half a clip to put one down out of a pack of 5+) lol
