I think he is talking about one of The Chronicles of Narnia movies. What that has to do with The Hobbit or Peter Jackson is beyond me though.
From what I understand, the Hobbit will be following the book very closely. This supposed to be the first of three movies because of the amount of content in the book. Which is really saddening. If the Hobbit gets 3 movies for a trilogy, then all of the other 3 books of LOTR should have received just as much, I feel. Of course, that may be a case of too much material for everyone, but imagine if the Hobbit was first debuted as a trilogy, then the next 3 books that followed the same pacing. A lot more story-telling, character depth, and enjoyment I think.

I saw The Hobbit at midnight last night. It was simply amazing. It followed pretty close to the book from what i can tell. (it's been a while since i have read it. Going to re-read it soon). The 48 FPS was great. It made the movie better, if you ask me. It's clearer and you can see more detail, especially in the fight scenes.
Alot of critics are giving it low ratings because "It doesn't feel like a LoTR movie". That is where they are going wrong. This isn't LoTR. This is a entirely different identity, that just so happens to be placed in the same world with the same characters or atleast some of them. LoTR was a more serious, gritty tone. While this movie was more of a vibrant tone...for lack of a better term. The books had a different feel to them and so should the movies.

just got home from watching it, and it does follow the book fairly well for those of you who were concerned
like epic fail said, its not the same story as the lord of the rings, its the tail of bilbos adventure. he wrote it for his children so its not as dark and serious as his later work

Saw it last night. I felt it started a bit slow, but that's understandable considering it's only the first part. I don't often seen movies in the theater anymore, but I'll probably try to see the rest of the Hobbit in theaters.
I don't understand the "it doesn't have the LotR feel" though, but then again, I never understand "critics" reviews.
