Well the only reason I chose it, is because it has 500+ reviews with 4 stars on NewEgg. It also has 37W max over the +12v rails. Which should be enough for say a GTX 660 Ti right? Im not sure on the Ti but Ill be getting that one or the regular.

NewEgg reviews are not a good reason to buy something. They're the same reviewers who give a product 1-stars or less because it happened to arrive DOA. ;p

That's also a bad explanation since you're lumping the good reviewers with the bad. Just read the reviews to get an overall impression, so you can isolate the bad reviews from helping create an overall opinion.

I see your point but I can't wholly agree with this; Newegg reviewers, even the good ones, more than likely aren't going to be able to tell you as much as an Anandtech -- for example -- review or article.

Well. What would be something decent then.. Modular is a must, but I dont want to spend a ton of money and go overkill on the wattage either. I can still return the PSU and have thought about it since Ive been looking today but Ill wait and see if it gives me a reason to.

Also, Ive been told my previous choice of PSU is probably not a good one despite the reviews. IF anyone wants to give me a good link to at least a Modular PSU that'd be great since I can still return mine.

Fully modular, Gold-certified, and solid internal components packing 650 watts of badassery. It's got enough juice in it to reliably power a second 660 Ti for SLI if you ever decide to double up later down the line. I own that exact PSU myself, and can verify it's awesomeness. Go for this if you can.

I have no doubt others will come in and recommend some other awesome PSUs too but that's one to think about!

2 hardwired cables that you are going to have to use anyways. 80 plus gold. Great unit. Same price as the seasonic (which is slightly better) after coupon, but the corsair also has a $20 rebate which is always good.

I think I may try the Seasonic although I personally have never heard of them, but its been about 5 years since Ive built a computer. Everything posted above has been ordered though! IM super happy to be able to game on my favorite servers again. I am going to give the RAIDMAX PSU a test run though I think unless I can contact NewEgg and work something out for the Seasonic.

Probably a good call. The corsair only has 2 pci-e connectors which newegg incorrectly states as 4.
