May I offer my condolences To the parents and friends of the victims in Newtown ,Connecticut. To lose a loved one through natural means is bad but these poor parents must be devastated. So close to Christmas is heart breaking.

Some of you may know i am not just a soldier, but also a Police Officer.

This hurts me deep. No police officer/Swat/SRT could ever show up fast enough. Any loss of a child is devastating.

I grew up an hour from Newtown. Its a great place. No arguments about gun control could ever bring those children back. Ive been lucky enough that every time i have responded to calls involving children it has never been a fatal crime.

It is truly awful.
