Christmas has came so fast and so quick i didnt realize how slim my wallet has been getting. Unfortunately while i was getting everyone presents i forgot to buy myself a little treat. So, without further ado. I want to get War Z, but i cant afford it at the moment. If anyone would be so kind to buy it for me on steam, i will give you some gifts.

If you play TF2: I can give you about 30, more or less, items.

If you play on eGO minecraft: You will receive all my picks and diamonds i have.

I Will give you and a friend the beta keys.

If you play runescape i can give you all my members items that are worth something plus about 3m and fish mask.

If you buy it and gift it to me on steam, my username is =(eG)= Dan Hunter.

(If you donate, you can have everything listed above, or whatever you want.)

UPDATE:

AHAHAHAAHA

The Game was nothing like it was expected, i played that junk for 3 hours and i regret every second. Really, in my honest opinion, dont get this game, unless you can play on Ultra graphics, and dont mind being killed by other players relentlessly, without reason.

I have 3 24 hour keys left if you want one. Can at least get some gameplay out of it.

That sounds great, but i am really looking for the full game. I am giving up on alot of games, as you can see above, (except minecraft ;D) and i figured someone on here wants something from the list.

My RS items are valued at about 33m, which is about 10$.
Also, TF2 guys might want the 30 or so items, i never play tf2, so i might as well get rid of them.

My friend said it was, and i have seen some gameplay videos, it is in the alpha stage, and very soon they are going to up the price. So i want to get it while it is 15$

The game worth buying?

Honestly in it's current state it's basically broken. You can often die by walking down hills. You get shot into space if you walk up some mountains... thats always hilarious to see. And a bunch of other problems. It would not be a problem but you lose all your gear if you die.

The spawning kind of sucks how it is now also because in WarZ when you die your character that died is dead for an entire hour. Kind of BS but it's how they have it and often you spawn next to someone and they kill you.

For 15 dollars id only say buy it if you plan to roll with a group of friends or people you know. The game is hard and no one is to be trusted, you see someone you shoot them or they shoot you.

Anyway I got 2 keys left, sent one to Dan Hunter over PM. The keys give you full access for 24 hours. Once the time has expired you can activate a full key on the same account and continue where you left off.

Im very excited for this game, and i have been excited.

Otherwise i wouldnt get rid of my RS what nots

Yeah, a lot of the stuff I've been reading today has been severely harsh on War Z. Talk of Reddit users defrauding the company by "buying" the game, installing it, and then cancelling the transaction (how I have no idea), possibility of the developer buying a bunch of copies of its own game to drive it up the list, the game being released as an alpha instead of a finished product (or even a beta, least that's a release candidate...).

It was an interesting sounding game, especially since I'm a Walking Dead fan, but I don't know anymore...:glare:

I would wait before considering buying the game. It is definitely not complete, and definitely not worth 15 dollars.

And evidently War Z won't be coming back out again...

At least not with its current name.

http://gamepolitics.com/2012/12/24/...es-trademark-was-suspended-uspto#.UNi1X-R9LjY

Paramount Pictures basically slapped them with a patent suspension as the game's name is too similar to World War Z, both book and coming movie. And to boot Paramount has plans to release a WWZ game as well.

personally that makes me glad, with all the things I've heard and read about this game, it is basically a scam. They used a free to play game's graphics, models, UI, etc to make a game that you have to buy, which also has micro transactions on it(basically force you to use the micro transactions, if a character gets killed you cant use it for FOUR hours, and if they die with items you spent real life money on, you lose said items). Not to mention they were doing illegal things such as making you sign a EULA that made it so you cannot ask for a refund and that they can ban you whenever they want for no reason without telling you. Also there is the fact that they released something in basically a pre-alpha state as a full game and posted blatant lies about what to expect in both details and images/videos.

There is plenty of other nasty stuff I've read about this, like the creators banning people who play a lot (just because they play a lot) to make them buy another copy of the game, banning players at random to "scare" the hackers, instead of directly targeting them, and (I found this one hilarious) that they copy/pasted League of Legends terms of use.

All in all, I personally think you should not even think about spending a penny on this game. Not to mention the gameplay looks utter garbage compared to Day Z, and that is saying something because I didn't like Day Z at all

*Edit* Check out War Z's Terms of use. lol http://i.imgur.com/EBOr7.jpg

My friend let me use 2 guest passes on this. I must say it was a terrible decision. Not only do I agree with what you said, grim. But also if you have actually played the game its to the point to where I am hating it. Dying is fine. Waiting 4 hours to replay him is not. The menu is fairly difficult to manuver through. I had a tough time even with my friends helping me play the game. Zombies can practically 1 hit you when you are on full health. Even thought they can do that in dayZ. This is utterly ridiculous. Since when does a punch from a zombie drop me to 1/3 of my health? Not to mention to gain health you need bandages, medkits, pain killers. All stuff that is IMPOSSIBLE to find unless you go into the largest citys or military outposts. The way zombies walk looks completely stupid. Ive seen them ice skate all over the map. The amount of hits it takes with a hammer or a baseball bat to the head of a zombie takes way too long. Ive spent 5 minutes killing 1 zombie with my hammer to after it dying me being killed right away.

All in all. I just think the game is a scam. With a 2 gig download to actually play the full game. It feels like a really good flash game online. I mean, ive played flash games that are better. UI, Movement, Graphics, Lighting, Bugs, Glitches.

The list goes on and on. I will wait for DayZ standalone to be released then play that and give my final assumption on both of these games.

And yes, They are making a World War Z game. The creator of the book already said he wanted to make it/was going to. ;P

EDIT: Did you catch the part near the bottom of the screen where it says "Leveling" your character is against the TOS? lol. There is no level based system in the game.

Personally (and it's not because i like dayz),
i don't think it is worth buying, there are many bugs even though it is released already, plus, they lie ALOT. most of the screenshots they have aren't anywhere close to real gameplay, that and they tell you about all of these features that aren't even available in the actual game. Once again, that is just my personal opinion, but it seems you have already bought the game.

/Teh bump as the game has been rereleased on Steam today

Curious to know what (if anything) they've changed from those who have and play it still. Also really confused that they're STILL using "The War Z" name despite not having any real new information on the USPO page for their trademark for it.

The last I heard about it, the War Z trademark was suspended for them because of the upcoming movie, World War Z (which looks very disappointing to me since I've read the book...)

Ironically, I read a news release about this, and the War Z owner disputed it. However, the link he said showed his application was suspended. Guess the owner was too lazy to review his own work, much less be informed properly by his lawyer.

WarZ is back on steam....
