Yeah I feel ya, but they still have the achievements. Look below the community choice sales

I wouldn't call those 'achievements' in the slightest however. Quite literally all those are there for is to see if you bought something for yourself/someone and how many times you voted for the community choice sale item. Last year there were actual achievements in games all over that were Christmas themed and yielded something (coal, a game, TF2 cosmetics, etc) from under the Steam Christmas Tree.

Least Payday did the present achievement this year again, I was able to get my santa mask.
