Ugh, ok let me try and explain this so people will stop bugging leadership about it.
The advertising company put up an advert on our site that was "malicious" not really of course and when google's "bot" was crawling sites it flagged us as hosting malware.
Leadership is aware of this issue and is working with the advertising company to have a review done of the adverts they put up, once this has been done and the malicious ad has been removed they can then have the site "re-evaluated" by google to remove the warning.
