sound problems with logitech headset

my logitech headset has stopped working for some reasons but if i play sounds it works when i go on vent or any games i have my sound all the way up on every setting i can and u can faintly hear

if i play sounds like to see if there working they work and it says every thing is working right if some one can help me i feel like im just hitting a wall here because all that happened was my friend unplugged my mic and i just repluged it back in and my sound is off now if u have any suggestions please say them because im at a stand still now:facewall:

All of the Logitech headsets I have owned over the years do not have a specific driver for it but instead is provided the generic driver installed through your Windows OS when you plug in your device.

I asked him/her the same thing in a PM but received zero response. It is the holidays so it is quite possible he/she is traveling. Hopefully we'll hear back soon.

I have a Logitech G35, and there's a driver you can download from the Logitech website that comes with a type of headset manager application.

I have a Logitech G35, and there's a driver you can download from the Logitech website that comes with a type of headset manager application.

G35's come with special drivers for the 7.1 surround sound. Its not because it needs them.

You can plug G35's straight into your computer and have no issues using them without using the driver CD or the ones from their website.
