Cant join BF3 Platoon

So when i look up the EdgeGamers platoons, the option "Apply to Join" is greyed out, what can I do?

Somebody would have to verify this, but my guess is that the other platoons are either full or locked.

For some reason, EA decided that a platoon should have a limit of 100 players, so every time a platoon reaches 100 players, a new one has to be made. I believe there's 4 platoons at this point.
