As people around the world celebrate the new year tonight, let us take a moment to reflect on the eventful year we've had in eGO. The community has experienced many firsts this year. So many in fact, that the news and leadership teams had a difficult time capturing the most memorable events. Happy new year eGO!

</td><td valign="center">2012 was kicked off with our
Members of the Year from 2011. JohnT also returned to the Community Manager rank as our
Chief Branding Officer. He would later step down to the Founder rank to focus on real life.</td></tr><tr><td valign="center" width="225">

</td><td valign="center">eGO
went to the movies with the premier of
Act of Valor. We gave away ten tickets to various locations around the US for members to meet up and view the movie.</td></tr><tr><td valign="center" width="225">

DigitalDJ was promoted to Council to represent the Op:X Division. He replaced the spot left by USCG Hammer who became Director of Operations in 2011. Later in March, we added the
Tech Division for our tech-savvy members to oversee our critical systems.</td></tr><tr><td valign="center" width="225">

</td><td valign="center">A month filled with Council changes.
Kendle, a founder of eGO, resigned from the Community Manager position and was later replaced with Mostly Harmless. iamevilbear was given the responsibility of overseeing and representing the Counter-Strike Division in Council. We also introduced our
Veteran ranking system.</td></tr><tr><td valign="center" width="225">

</td><td valign="center">Everyone went streaking! After eGO acquired and
registered trademarks. All our members removed their ™ from their in-game tags: =(e)= =(eG)= =(eGO)=.</td></tr><tr><td valign="center" width="225">

</td><td valign="center">June was a quiet month, probably because of all the behind the scenes work going on in preparation for eGO's 6th birthday.
Porkchop made his first appearance on the front page, and would return for our birthday festivities.</tr><tr><td valign="center" width="225">

</td><td valign="center">Happy Birthday! eGO turned 6 on July 1, so we threw a huge party. A plethora of
admins were promoted. We had three days filled with events from all divisions, and had an awesome scavenger hunt hosted by Porkchop the Pig. Later that month, the Strat Division was merged with the Op:X Division, and Minecraft became its own division.</tr><tr><td valign="center" width="225">

</td><td valign="center">The Team Fortress 2 Division announced its Free-4-All tournament with this grand prize: an Intel I7-2700K processor. The tournament was sponsored by eXtv and Edge Game Servers. The tournament took place later in September.</tr><tr><td valign="center" width="225">

</td><td valign="center">The CS Division added support for Valve's newest game,
Counter-Strike: Global Offensive. We kicked off the addition of CS:GO with four servers, including a jail server. Currently, we host one Gun-Game server.</tr><tr><td valign="center" width="225">

</td><td valign="center">Lungbuster was promoted to Council for Day of Defeat, replacing C-Whit who stepped down to focus on real life obligations. Blue Stealth was later promoted to Division Leader to take over the responsibilities left by Lungbuster. </tr><tr><td valign="center" width="225">

</td><td valign="center">Our fantastic Tech Team introduced DAPS. eGO's
Dedicated Application Processing System is an important system utilized by the PSC and Leadership to better manage applications for people joining the community, and to monitor recruiting.</tr><tr><td valign="center" width="225">

</td><td valign="center">We ended the year with Council and Community Manager promotions. The Judge, a long time leader of Counter-Strike, was promoted to represent his division at the Council level along side iamevilbear. USCG Hammer was promoted from Director of Operations to the Chief Personnel Officer. We also celebrated the holidays with a huge
Christmas promotion list for our admins.</tr></table>
