How do u add fonts?

i just DLed GIMP 2 , and i was wondering how to add fonts?

download a font (if is in a zip, extract it to your desktop) then go to start->run type in "fonts" (without quotes) then drag the font in that folder (restart GIMP if it was open)

I Downloaded Gimp 2 and I have NO IDEA how to do anything on it

You can simply right click any .ttf file you download and click install. Works quiet well for PSCS3
