CS Event Suggestion Thread

Good evening ladies, gentlemen, and those from unknown places!

Me and the rest of the CS EC team would like more input from you. We need your help in making our events superior to others. We want to be the #1 source for common fun and need your assistance with doing so.

Here are some questions I've pressed up for you:

• Any comments on our current events?
• What is your favorite or most disliked event and why?
• Any reasons why you don't attend events?
• Anything you'd like to share with the EC team and me?
• What would you like to see from our program in the future?
• Anything you feel we need to improve on?

I love Hide n Seek and Jail Night! However, I would love to see controlled voices. ie; not everyone talks over each other and it sounds like you're in Vietnam with bombs going off.

I don't attend other events because usually I'm preoccupied with something else, but that's nothing on your part.

I'd like to say..Nice job EC team! Over the span of my years, the events were always fun, and even out of hand at times and this brings a huge smile on my face.

I'd like to see more Sports night! Come onnnn. lol >

I'd like to see some minigames nights, which I believe we used to have. The current events I like are the dog tag scrims mainly, and the hide n seek can be fun for a short period of time to me. I wouldn't mind seeing some basic deathmatch nights either. As I suggested in a drop box post in the past, I'd also like to see some sports-type events such as soccer (which I believe we do/used to do), football, or basketball. As for attendance at events, it would vary on times I'd be able to join. The EC team is doing a great job and I hope to see some fun events arise this year!

Unfortunately I live in a time zone that makes it very difficult for me to attend events, as most of them occur between 2AM and 5AM my time.

In my opinion you should change some of the events that we normally have all the time to
something we never had yet or to something we used to have a long time ago.

Server Filling Night is a good way to get our server rankings up if and we should have that event on servers that's normally not populated.

Favorite event is probably Dog Tag Scrim and Last Man Standing since I like to play competitive, and I usually see the event server packed during those events.
But the dog tag scrim can sometimes lack e's eG's and O's but still can be fun.

I agree with Ric of having sport nights events as well.

I know the event server is suppose to be for eGO members, but maybe unlocking the server for some events so pubs can join and realize how fun eGO can be. Also, that may
possibly attract new members to join eGO and that can also be a good way to recruiting numbers up.

Zombies, Perhaps some kind of glass map event or Rats.

we should just have a straight-up goldeneye event. but hey, thats my opinion

I try to make it to as many events as I can, but sometimes they conflict with other items on the list that i need to do. But everytime im here, i join up ^^

I think it would be cool to do an event that involved two divisions at once. Something that would come out of a harry potter movie. 10 points for CS or something for trivia, competition, or whatever.

We did try something like that in the past. But trying to coordinate with other divisions is not the easiest, but possible!

Love the events you guys host, Though maybe you could have some pub friendly and some eGO members only? My favourite events would be Jail night and surf night both great ideas and really fun events. The only event i do miss is euro hour(thats the time i go eat on saturdays.)

Improvements:

.Well abuse of admin and admin chat, its not often but it happens.

.Lots of people on the mic you guys handle it well but it can get out of hand

.I think maybe get more maps for the server and add different plugins?

I like the Event Olympics because it was a mixture of events combined and when you win on a map you get points in order to win prizes! We should have more events like euro hour or late night fight because you can do multiple events and maps in 1 event!
