Hey guys! This is Hardwarebeer from DoD's division.

I just ordered a new pc to build and would like your thoughts and opinions:

16GB-Kit Corsair Vengeance
ASRock Z77 Extreme4, Sockel 1155, ATX
be quiet! Straight Power E9 CM 80+Gold
BitFenix Merc Beta
HIS HD 7850 GDDR5 2048MB DVI/HDMI/2xMini DP
Intel Core i5-3570K Box, LGA1155
Samsung SSD 840 120GB SATA 6Gb/s
SEAGATE Constellation CS 2TB 64MB
 
To be honest, you could have gotten a better case. Also couldnt find that be quiet! power supply, so cant say anything about that.

In the future, if you want some opinions, this is my guide to getting the best bang for your buck pc hardware-wise:

#1 Create a thread with the hardware you are looking to get, along with a link to the item that you're wanting to get so that we can tell you (based on user experience) whether its worth getting or maybe we can help you find something better.

#2 Once youve posted the info, give the thread about 24 hours for feedback. I always try to give feedback within that period of time (unless a few of the other tech gurus here in the forums speak out first).

#3 After you receive the feedback from the community, then take that into consideration on whether you want to keep or change your build before you go purchasing your parts.

We are always here & available to give feedback and suggestions for upgrades. However, since you already ordered your parts, the only thing I can say is that if you want, you can send something back & get something better (depending on who you got the parts from). Here in America, we prefer Newegg.com because of their amazing customer service & the fact that they rely on the customers feedback on the products to propel each item they sell. I cannot say for other websites in other countries, but seeing as how this community is world-wide now, im sure we have a few people that live within your area that can possibly help you in the future.

Personally I would have skipped on an SSD and put the money toward a better gpu, but I guess it depends what you plan to play.

Not to say that, that card can't handle games.

Yeah i should've asked before ordering but will remember in future. :) I thought to use the SSD for holding my OS, nothing else. To keep it separated.

Nothing wrong with having a SSD for your OS, but you might consider putting a few programs/games that you use regulatory on there also. After all you have some space & the faster load is beneficial to more then just the OS.

SSD is a huge upgrade over a mechanical drive. Definitely take advantage of it with your most used programs and games in addition to the OS. Enjoy the system.
 
I just got the same Mobo and CPU myself for Christmas. Between that and my SSD programs load very quickly. I'm actually noticing that just using another SATA drive for games loads almost as fast as the SSD but not in the case if i was to put my OS on it. I cant get Windows7 to finish the Starting Win7 display before it loads lol :D

I have all my programs on mine but I'm finding that ALL my games load fairly quickly on the SATA drive so I leave them there, even GW2 and WoW.
