Iphone 4s.

So me and my family are getting the Walmart Tmobile Family plan.

We used to have verizon but our bill was over 280$ a month for 2gigs and unlimited talk and text each.

So we were going to switch to walmart's family plan, which would cut our bill in more than half.

We have three of the Verizon Iphone 4s.

We have unlocked them, cut the sim cards to size with the iphone, and put them in and canceled our service with verizon.

They dont work. So we went to walmart, got in a "situation" and needless to say we got two Galaxy S2s. So i am left without a phone.

I am trying everything to get my iphone 4s to work for tmobile but i just cant seem to do it.

Any help? Any ideas?

I was doing some research and i came across this tutorial, altough i am kinda sketchy.

" Uninstall any mms fixes you downloaded thru cydia than do this. Cellular Data APN: internet2.voicestream.com Username: Password: MMS APN: wap.voicestream.com Username: Password: MMSC: 216.155.174.84/servlets/mms MMS Proxy: 216.155.165.50:8080 MMS Max Message Size: 1048576 MMS UA Prof URL: http//www.apple.com/mms/uaprof.rdf Then go to Cydia and add this source: cydia.pushfix.info Then in Cydia, go to Sections, then Tweaks scroll to T-Mobile US MMS Fix (its the 3rd one) and install. It says for iOS4 but it worked for me! "

Other information:

I have not jailbroken my iphone.

I dont know anything about Cydia, i just know i havent downloaded it.

I dont know what mms is.

It appears that the only way to do this would be to have Verizon unlock the phone (some say for international use) after your contract has expired. Then you should be able to use a t-mobile sim card.

I'm not sure what you mean by "cut the sim cards" though, did you physically manipulate them in some way?

And MMS = multi-media messaging

My contract has expired and i have my Family Mobile sim card in it.

When i start it up it says "SIM Not Vaild"
