Council is proud to unveil the new website header, footer, and rank images. The best part is that they are copyrighted, which means that we own them! These awesome graphics are the hard work of TomsSound. We are grateful to him for donating his time and talents towards this long-needed upgrade.

Some of you will resist the change because of human nature, while others may have criticisms of the colors, form, or style. This would be true regardless of what images were selected. The important thing is to be proud of all we have accomplished with the work of an entirely volunteer staff.

It is not surprising that eGO has been able to maintain the highest level of quality in every area, since that is what we have always been able to achieve with the best team in gaming!​

I really don't like the way this is worded. It's basically dismissing any criticism right off the bat.
 
Speaking of graphics... well done on this news post Druid! And thanks to the team for getting this article up so fast.

EDIT: Those who don't like the way I word my news articles are welcome to PM me directly or find me in Vent. There are probably other issues we need to talk about as well.

Sorry to break it but this looks unpleasant (nicest form of word I can choose). I can ramble on for 5 paragraphs or I can just accept it and tell myself "it's just a logo." Anyways, I don't like the change but I'll accept it anyways, part of life.
 
DJ Rend has been set free to find a gaming community that better suites his style.
 
It's only been up for a few days, but I've already grown accustomed to it. I really, really like it a lot! Great job, Tom! :)
 
meh over time they might grow to me. Im one of those types that always kick it old school

I don't think he's "threatening" anybody, he's just saying if you don't like it, just let Artimus know so we can get input on the new style. Personally I like it; I'm ok with changes in the design, and I understand some people will take a moment to get used to the new settings. And ha yea the footer is still the old style :) Great Job Tom on taking the time to design a new style.

Now to bug Tom to get the logo for my EGO & EGO-A tankers :biggrin:
 
um the only thing is that there is still the original ones in the history and structure as well as the Leadership roster.

Thanks Artimus, TomSound did a great job with the new style.
 
Honestly not a fan of the new style so far, Every time I look at it I think it's childish. But not worth arguing/complaining about :).
