Do you like the new form look and images?

I just want to say that even though a lot of members don't agree with the change, or find it unappealing, please take the time to actually think about the dedication and time that went in to these images. I don't mind them because I don't really look at the banner. I come on to the forums, check some specific forums and go on my way. As they've said in other threads, these changes are coming in chunks and while you may not agree with them, that is fine, but calling it words like "atrocious" or that you hate it, elaborate on why? Criticism is a good thing, as long as it's based on respect.

Personally, I truly don't mind it. At first, I was a bit leery but it'll eventually grow on me.

I never liked change... Was rather surprised to see this change was made when I logged in. Oh well... Guess I will have to just get used to it.

I was skeptical at first, but I really like how all of the ranks tie together. They pop more now, they're sharper, and I actually really like the new font. It's a nice change imo.

I like them, yes its a little cartoony but it doesn't matter; so do a lot of things these days and it only proves that we are a modern gaming community.

I like it but I would love to see some different colors. We have rocked light blue for so long and I personally think the new shade of blue looks childish, especially on the rank graphics.

Here's why it's a poor choice.

1. Visually cluttered.
2. Distracting. The old designs had soft edges and circles. This one's got the star points, and the saturated colors.
3. The font is unprofessional and has sharp edges, not to mention the fact that it seems to be in italics for no real reason.
4. I hate the font. This is the same as number three but it's my main issue with the design.
5. Others have pointed out the "cartoony" feel to it. This doesn't make it bad, it just means it needs to work. This design doesn't work for me.

1. Agreed; it looks "busy."
2. Agreed; the look appears to me to be trying to show motion (the star is tilted, the light blue zooming away from the logo). It's just not pleasant to look at.
3. I wouldn't say unprofessional, I'd say uncomfortable.
4. This is just duplication, so I'm going to shoot the ex-wife again here.
5. I don't mind cartoons. In fact, for a gaming organization a cartoony feel is just fine. I don't see comic here so much as comical.

Well, first, let me say - to the individuals that put in the time and effort to create the new look: THANK YOU! I'm glad that we have such dedicated members that are willing to put in the hours to improve on our community.

I don't mind the change. I think it's fine, and I'm not adverse to the font or graphic.

I agree completely with Netsky. This looks too cartoonish and childish where as the old forms of design gave us a more organized and professional look. The main thing I hate about the new rank images is that it is almost impossible to tell the difference between leadership. If a guy came in appealing a ban or something similar to that, they'd want to know that the person they're talking to is someone high up that can handle their claim. When i look at the image for eGO and the leadership, It's way too similar in design. So if I were to come in and appeal a ban and didn't know any of the leadership, I'd be rather confused when everyone I talked to had similar ranking designs and I might just think that the entire place is nothing but higher end people which would make absolutely no sense.

I understand where everyone is coming from that the old ones are better but after seeing the old ones for so long, I actually don't mind this change.
