MARK YOUR CALENDARS Southern California Edge Gamers!

Who: You SoCal eGOs! (Out of town/state members are more than welcome to join!!!)
What: Beach BBQ/Bonfire (Potluck)
When: Saturday June 22nd 2013 from 12pm - 10pm (Closing)
Where: Huntington City Beach (Not State Beach) [TOWER 11]
How: By Car, Train, Boat, Foot, Plane, Toboggan

Bring Towels, Swimwear, Boogie-boards, Beach Chair for yourself, Food.
I (Jim) will provide grill, 2 tables, hamburger patties (I need a count), buns, condiments, veggies.
Someone help and bring a canopy and wood for the fire! :D

I planed it 6 months in advance for you folks to plan ahead. If there are any conflicts with the date, please PM on here or Steam!

Directions:
From the Northwest (Westwood, Santa Monica, Sherman Oaks)
405 South
Exit Beach Blvd (South to Huntington Beach)
Turn Left off the ramp and then turn Right onto Beach Blvd.
Immediately after Pacific Coast Hwy.
Turn Right into the Parking Lot. ($15 All Day Parking, Carpool Recommended)

From the (General) North (Downtown LA, Hollywood, Pasadena)
5 South
405 South
Exit Beach Blvd (South to Huntington Beach)
Turn Left off the ramp and then turn Right onto Beach Blvd.
Immediately after Pacific Coast Hwy.
Turn Right into the Parking Lot. ($15 All Day Parking, Carpool Recommended)

From the Inland Empire (Pomona, Rancho Cucamonga, San Bernardino)
91 West
57 South
22 West
Exit Beach Blvd.
Turn Left onto Beach Blvd.
Immediately after Pacific Coast Hwy.
Turn Right into the Parking Lot. ($15 All Day Parking, Carpool Recommended)

From the South (San Clemente, Oceanside, San Diego)
5 North
405 North
Exit Beach Blvd (South to Huntington Beach)
Continue on Beach Blvd. (South)
Immediately after Pacific Coast Hwy.
Turn Right into the Parking Lot. ($15 All Day Parking, Carpool Recommended)
 
I was gonna express my jealousy and or hatred for you guys for being able to hit the beach in January but I looked at the date again. So long story short I need to move to Italy or Spain or something and be somewhere nice
 
ill bring some food as well, since it is a potluck...i dono what im gonna bring but mabe more hot dogs or some salad??...hahaha
 
Huntington beach? The ugliest beach in socal ;) lol jk... I'll try to make it!
 
If Huntington Beach isn't dog friendly, then Skippy will have to watch from a distance, just like he did at Redondo Beach this past weekend....

WHO IN THEIR RIGHT MIND WOULD NOT LET SKIPPY ON THE BEACH?!?

Anyway, I live in GA, so I won't be there.
 
I live in Newport Beach, which is 15 minutes away from Huntington Beach so most likely I'll swing by and join you guys
 
Bump kinda... and I'll try to make it if I get my license before but I am around 6 hours away.

I read swing as swim. Pictured some guy swimming along the coast waving at the meetup then continuing on, thanks for the laugh haha

Oh, and I will arrive to this meeting via parachute.
