Game Preview with Blindy: GTA V

Are you a fan of the Grand Theft Auto series? Do you like completing missions and taking over cities? Then you will probably be excited to hear that Grand Theft Auto V is just around the corner.

Grand Theft Auto V was announced by Rockstar Games on October 25, 2011, and a few days later, all the images on their website were replaced with the GTA V logo. Grand Theft Auto V will be based in Los Santos and the surrounding hills, which Rockstar confirmed is based on "a re-imagined, present-day Southern California."

Grand Theft Auto V is the first of the GTA series to allow you to take control of multiple characters almost instantly and at any time when off-mission. A few of the missions will involve all three protagonists, which will allow you to switch between characters to complete each section of the mission. You will be able to switch between a helicopter pilot, a sniper, and the man on the ground. This new addition will allow you to always be in the action, and with ease of course.

Now for the best news that some of you may not know: GTA V is set to be released in the early spring, between March and June, provided that there are no major delays.

GTA V will be available for the Xbox 360, and PlayStation 3. The PC edition will most likely be on sale later once the launch sales has reached Rockstar's expectations. Typically, Grand Theft Auto games are likely to reach the PC platform about 8 months after they have been released on consoles.

You are currently able to pre-order GTA V on Rockstar's website. It is available also at most well known retailers. If you're a huge fan of the Grand Theft Auto series, I would definitely recommend picking this one up.

I'll wait for it to be released on the PC, even though I have a PS3. Can't wait though!

This makes me very sad facey.

I almost pooped my pants when I saw the countdown to the first trailer of GTA V in 2011. Been waiting for this game for yonks now lol.

Gonna to have to get out my old Xbox 360 to play it early though.

Although it would be far better on PC; I will be getting this on PS3 and it will be great. I hear you can use clan features in this one.

An eGO first: reviewing a game that isn't out yet. Outstanding!

The whole point of the review is to bring attention to the game for those who don't know about it, or are a bit shy about the details.

Woooooooo cant wait. Only been waiting since GTA IV. Got it preordered and everything. Will there be an 'ego' 'gang' in that? since i heard there will be a way to create gangs and battle online multiplayer for territory and what not.

I think reviews like this should be called "A Look at the Upcoming Game: GTAV" or maybe "A First Look: GTA V".

Cause really it's just information about the game and not much a review of the game.

Maybe a better wording would have been 'Preview' instead of 'Review.' I have made the correction. Now let's try discussing the game rather than your definition of what a review is.
