Bought a puppy =D

She looks very similar to my brother's dog. He's a mix between an Amstaff and a Lab( more or less). Especially the black skin color and the white patch on the chest and paws.
Oh Wow. Your bro's dog does look quite similar.. Older Of Course.
I'm glad you all like her. More pics soon. At the moment I'm dealing with the shock of waking up every day between 6AM and 8:30 AM to take care of her.
Of course I knew this would happen it's just rough. I'm not a morning person lol.
Thankfully the training process seems to be going very well. She's learning stuff much faster than I thought. Smart pup.

Grats on the puppy! She's very cute.
Just remember that stuff you are teaching her now is what she'll do for the rest of her life. Try and get her on your sleep schedule and train her the proper way the first time. I have 2 dogs, 1 is on my schedule, the other one thinks everyone should be on her schedule.
Getting the proper obedience training is very helpful too.

Our first 3 days and nights with Skippy were a nightmare. But really it was just him getting used to his new environment and us getting used to having to take care of another living being in our apartment.
Things evened out pretty quickly after that though, once he got into a routine and started learning his basic commands.
We read [ame="http://www.amazon.com/Good-Owners-Great-Brian-Kilcommons/dp/0446675385/ref=sr_1_58?s=books&ie=UTF8&qid=1332454463&sr=1-58"]this book[/ame] before getting him and I definitely recommend it.
My other suggestion is take as many pictures and videos of the little girl as you can whilst she's still a pup. Time will fly and she'll be done with puppyhood before you know it.

Yeah I'm trying to get her on MY sleep schedule and so far I'd say it's mostly successful. As far as potty training goes she's making great progress. 90% of the time she's heading to the newspaper area I set up. She's far too young to venture out in my back yard or even my inclosed back deck.
Many pictures are being taken. Quite honestly I've never been so involved in the development of anyone or anything until I got this dog. I feel my quality of life has greatly increased..
