My friend sent this to me on Facebook. I got an excellent chance apparently. I'm excited! Probably should go play more Oblivion and Skyrim just to get more in the mood!

Very excited about this. But also a little disheartening.

I just LOVE the TES lore and the open world games. (Morrowind being my favorite). But the bad taste some of the newer MMO's made me a bit jaded to the idea of one of my favorite games of all times being dragged into the very very unkind beast of the MMO genre.

I don't want to see another ToR happening :(


Anyways, I signed up. I want this game to be everything I thought it could be growing up imagining Morrowind being multiplayer.

@ChocolateVillain: Totally hear you there brother. I have my concerns as well, but I think since Bethesda is handing most or all of the development duties to Zenimax then maybe they can stray away from what concerned me most: namely how dangerous a foray into the multiplayer world of gaming would be for Bethesda's vision of TES (let alone an entire MMO). I also have concerns of how well the lore and feel of TES as a series -- let alone its gameplay mechanics -- will translate into the world of MMOGs, but we'll have to see how this plays out, I think!
 
I'm pretty sure there's a NDA, but I'm just dying to see some gameplay. Definitely signed up, looks awesome!

Looks like it, man. I won't doubt that some gameplay videos will crop up eventually, probably attached to press attempts at playing the game or with fan responses to open betas -- but it'd be even cooler if we all got in to try it ourselves! :>
