Allied Promotions - Week 2
Thank you again to all members of the 101st Airborne who made it to our second battle. Again, a few players showed up but didn't get the chance to play; as before, we'll keep track of this for the future.
Sadly, we were not able to dislodge the perfidious German forces in Poland. Although you all demonstrated skill and valor (and lasted longer than your CinC) the damned Krauts used every nook and cranny of their chosen defensive position. Don't worry, though - we'll root them out in the end, and they won't be allowed to keep the spoils of the sneak attack that started this war.
That same skill and valor, though, contributed to a masterful defense of our foothold in the Netherlands. Keep it up and we just might wear the Germans out! We'll show them we're made of sterner stuff!
