CP Rotation Suggestions

Please post here if you want to see a new map on the rotation! If you think a map isn't doing so well, let us know!

Are there stats beyond ranking that we can get?
For example: Can we look at what the average population is when a given map is being played on the server? Or can we look at which map wins votes most often?

At least one source of data can be found here. This lists the number of times a particular map is chosen. Another source of information is this.

Last call, everyone! This invitation to have a hand in deciding changes to CP Rotation will end on Saturday, February 9!

I will jump in to say that even if we have a 24/7 foundry server, if it does fill the server, it makes sense to keep it anyway. Btw, I'm not familiar with how our rotations work, but is it possible to have more maps available to nominate and rtv than just the ones in the rotation? That way you could have a solid core of maps that get a lot of playtime, and can still switch to a less popular map when the mood strikes. (Or do we already do that - in which case.. sorry.. I'm stupid.)

I just wanna jump in to say that even if we have a 24/7 Foundry server, if Foundry fills the server, then it makes sense to keep it in (I don't really know how to interpret that data). Btw, I'm not familiar with how rotations and map voting etc. work, so sorry if this is a stupid suggestion, but is it possible to have a small core rotation of very popular maps, with access to a larger base of maps that you can nominate/rtv to? The trackers Caelestis put up suggest that there are few top maps that get chosen a lot, such as egypt or gravelpit, which everyone knows; but all the other maps are also played a non-trvial amount of times - thus, force them to play the popular maps, unless they would all rather play something else :p Quantum Mechanical forcing of electrons.

Thank you all for your suggestions we have taken them into account and implemented them!
