Xfire Clan

I was just recently invited into the EGO CS:S xfire clan, and I thought hey, that's cool. So I go and look up an EGO DOD:S clan and I come up with CS:S, COD4, and TF2. Maybe we should create an EGO DOD:S clan for xfire?

Well as long as the community manager or maybe the council approves you can do it.

I think has been thought of before. The thing is that there is no need for xfire so long as we have steam friends. No point in having 2 messangers.

Whats xfire? Im assuming its a in-game messaging system kind of like teamspeak?

More like MSN or IRC with a Friends list and joining capability. It does have a voice chat but I don't think its too detailed.

Google it for specifics.

It's unneccesary and as Mirg said this has been thought off before, and shot down We've go Steam (you should be in the eGO Steam group) and we've got Vent (see top of the page) as a means of communication

Also, all of the houses used to have their own xfire group, now they use a steam group, its much quicker and easier to set up and change events using the steam group as opposed to xfire.
