Deadly was nice enough to make a short video for me. It is not my actual video, there are no impressive kills there, it is just a test to see how my .dem files compile into a video. This is just random footage I collected when I was on the 1st MRB server. I hope my real video that I am collecting footage for will come out soon.

It will get longer and be filled with better footage. But that is for the future. I am still collecting stuff. This was just random clips to test how it compiles.

How do you scope in so freaking fast?

I think it is a ping problem. Normally there is a scope-in animation on your target as your full screen narrows into a scope. I know this because when I play DOD without an internet connection by just practicing an offline map I see the full animation as it is supposed to be seen. Because my internet connection is awful (80 kilobytes/second) and my ping is abnormally high I do not see a scope-in animation. When I scope I have a delay (which is when the animation takes place) and then a scope, I end up skipping the whole animation part. So when you see it on my .dem files you see the same lag issues on the scope as I do, so it appears as if I have a super fast scope or an insta-scope.

Sometimes what happens is pretty cool. I call it a "blind-scope". This is when you see someone, scope-in, shoot, scope-out, but you do this all by instinct, that you do not even see scope on your screen at all. All you see if that you kill the guy but you never ended up seeing any scope. It is not that you avoided using a scope it rather means that your shot was faster than your internet connection and so you never saw any animation.

With myself I feel like my performance while playing for quite a while rose and fell sometimes even on a daily basis. Its a normal thing as you learn things, abandon them for potentially better ideas and eventually go back or synthesize them.

To stay on Topic, nice video Cube. I'm looking for that perfect dpi to have on my mouse that I know i'm not missing due to overly high sensitivity but not missing on the flip side from too low. How is your sens high or low. I've had the in game on sens 2.5 while moving my dpi in gradual increases from 900 to 2500 where i'm at now
