I wanted to make this thread so the Elder Scrolls fans could discuss what they want to see, and what they expect in the upcoming Elder Scrolls online.
Valenwood Concept Art
I can honestly say that the graphics and map design will probably be phenomenal. The concept art is never right, but the feel of going to old and new places, reading books found ingame will overwhelm the player into loving it.
As for gameplay, two things are going to happen.
1) Quests are going to be amazing, in detail, and very tedious. While combat is lacking, and dull.
Reasons:
Elder Scrolls is reknowned for its indepth quests that really make you feel as though you are an assassin for the dark brotherhood, a thief in the night, or an almighty demi-god. My expectations are moderate to high for the quests, (excluding begginner quests) but i can assure that they will learn from the mistakes of a rival mmorpg "World of Warcraft" and make quests interesting, instead of the dull "Find me three <insert generic itemhere>."
2) Clashing all of the different factions together will make a horrible plot hole in the elder scrolls universe thus making players and fanbase go in a frenzy.
Reasons:
Like many diehard elder scrolls fans, i am a big fan of the story, the world they have created. Everytime i see a book ingame about the history of Tamriel, i read it and place it in my library. I play for the story, not the action. So when they are going to try and create a game to where all the factions are clashing to become emperor, what the player is supposed to become, this is a recipe for disaster. Not only in the story of the games, but in actual gameplay. What if you just start and someone becomes emperor? Do you just quit knowing you have already been beaten? If so, this is going to make the game shoot down on my top ten list of games.
Other Notes:

The link above is to walmart trying to sell the game online? Is this a scam or are they really selling preorders? If it is true i dont want to play sixty bucks for a game i will probably have to pay monthly for too.
ALSO:
This is a Elder Scrolls Media Thread aswell.
