Dota2

Pretty much the same games. I know a few people still don't have copies, so even if anyone wanted to try it, figured it was worth a shot.

No, it really is the same thing, I hate it them both.

I have to disagree on this one. The LoL community is pretty immature and tiring to be around, though I have not found this to be the case with the Dota community. If you stick to the US servers (you have a choice in Dota), most of the folk are either sufficiently friendly, or they speak Russian so it doesn't matter.

The game itself is a lot more fun as well. Its more balanced, and the developers put a lot more time and effort into the game.

Why not try it out, though? Its free, and there are a raft of people in eGO that play:

Myself
Q-tip
Predator Lark
Ravage
K^^
Silent Ghost

the list goes on.

Hmm..I would love to try it out, but I wouldn't want to take it especially if there was someone else that would enjoy it more. :P

I just received a copy of this game. I have never played LoL but was interested in seeing what this game was all about. Loaded and tried to just practice against bots.. sooooo confused so I logged off lol. I'll give it a better go once i have more time.. lol

There is a steep learning curve, but you can always play at your own pace against AI.

DOTA and its variants take a very very long time to get good at. I played the original dota and other games like it for quite a while
