Any tips on helping me with reflecting? I'm decent, but would like more skills :).
If you guys wonder I stopped playing TF2 for a while so that's why I've been inactive :).

Don't look at the opponent, listen to the sound of there gun, the time it takes between projectiles.

That's how I do it anyway :P

Lots and lots and lots and lots and lots of dodgeball.

Best server is Dodgeball Hell. That's how I got good.

The only thing I had trouble air blasting was Jarate & Arrows. other than that, it isn't that hard. Mostly because you can clearly see the projectile coming. Just work on reaction time.

Use this here to improve your reaction time :P But as Hollowsoul said, its best to just get the firsthand experience.http://getyourwebsitehere.com/jswb/rttest01.html

I personally found dodgeball to be less useful than actually just doing it on servers, since the rules are a little bit different with how the rocket is coming at you. That said, dodgeball is super fun. I also really like tr_walkway rc2 (http://forums.tf2maps.net/showthread.php?t=8909) for getting started on reflecting mechanics. (Along with EVERYTHING else; oh, plus, you can practice reflecting people and shotgunning, demo grenades, and even sentry rockets, which are all fun to reflect too.)

But, with the difference in latency and the artificiality blah blah blah, best training is really just to get into a server and play and reflect or die a lot trying.. lol

Don't do dodgeball. It's a completely different experience.

It's like anything else in this game, like aiming or learning good movement. You just have to keep practicing at it. There's no real trick or magic technique that'll make it easier. You just have to be good at timing, at reacting, and at predicting.

Think of it like a fighting game. The Pyro plays a lot like an aggro fighting game character: has to get in close to do lots of damage, does bursts of damage with combos, and tries to control the opponent into a defensive space so that you can remain on the offensive.

Dodgeball is a different experience, yes, but there is at least one vital thing it gives: timing.

Knowing when to blast is vital.

ummmm well you point at what you wana reflect, and right click when its close to you :3
