Allied Promotions - Week 3
Thank you again to all soldiers of the 101st Airborne Division who made it to our second battle. We made great progress during our second attempt to liberate France; although we managed to secure our initial beachhead, the German forces were able to regroup and repel our attack.
Regrettably, our defensive positions in Finland proved weaker than our previous ones. Although you all fought well and showed great courage, the terrain simply wasn't as impregnable as we thought, and the treacherous Krauts oozed around our fortified positions.
This is far from the end, though! We may be wounded - but like the eagle pictured above, we will recover. And we won't be happy.

As always, I'd like to thank my command staff, Boyle and Dr. Compton, for their help during the week. I'd also like to again thank MiniNayNay for stepping in to command her squad during this week's strategy meeting and matches.
I will not see you next week, but General Boyle will be leading the Screaming Eagles in my absence. The fight to free Europe from Fascism continues! There's just more to free now.
