Attention all tankers!! The competition is heating up at WOT with the announcement of the World of Tanks Classic: Season 2 tournament.
The World of Tanks Classic is played in a league style format with two qualifying rounds leading into a single-elimination, playoff round. The first round begins on Sunday Feb. 15, and continues on each Sunday until April 21. There are no tier limits for this tournament, however, each team is limited to 90 points (for example, 1 tier 10 tank represents 10 points). The first place price is 1,455,000 gold, so expect the competition to be tough!!
Since this tournament will take several weeks to complete, the following rules will apply:
- Signing up to the tournament means that you are committed to participate. If there are conflicts with the schedule, please post your availability right away. It is important to know if there will be enough people to make up a full team for each day.
- Team members need to be available 1 hour before each match. This is to give enough time to go over strategy and/or changes based on tank inventory.
- Sometime after the close of registration (4pm PST Feb. 15), the weekly map schedule will be released. At that time, we will schedule a training session to go over strategy, tank placement and arty locations. Time permitting, a session will take place on Feb 15, otherwise on Feb 16 at 9pm EST (same as Clan Wars)
- Training for each week will be set based on team member availability at the end of each round.
- Maptactic will be used to plan out each round. At the end of each round, the strategy and results of the round will be reviewed. This will be a 10-15 minute discussion of what did/did not work and how to improve for the next round.
So take your tanks out of the garage and join the EGO team here >>>>>>>http://worldoftanks.com/uc/teams/226...ers_%5BEGO%5D/<<<<<<<<
