Browser plugin problems

This is the message I get "Download and install the latest Browser Plugin to play the game." My stuff shows its up to date. I've been trying to fix this for a few hours now and nothing I find online helps. I would be killing all you right now if it wasnt for this lol. Anyone have this problem and fixed it? :confused1:

what browser are you using?

Try this..Exit Origin, google battlelog and sign in with your info. Then try and download the plug-in.

Worked for me one time.

And if what SuperJ said doesn't work try uninstalling the browser plugin completely and reinstalling. Also I have found recently that I can't Origin from Battlelog. I have to open Origin, launch Battlelog from Origin, then choose a server.

i was usuing IE9 then switched default to to google nothing, uninstalled and reinstalled nothing. checked repair tool nothing wrong there.

The answer wasn't in the forums Capt. However, I did find a solution and its was weird, but I'm in. See you guys on the battlefield!!!!

Hold the phone. Why were you EVER using IE9 as your default browser?

Using IE9 because it is the only one that works for BF3 GC got so laggy it was impossible to play even one game

thats why at first, but now I cant use IE9 anymore but I have to luanch GC and make sure Origin is not running, then let battlelog launch Origin from GC or it wont start. Launching battlelog from Origin wont work. So frustrating , but hey it works... for now :glare:

Well, it can also work as an emergency browser.

From a security stand point, FireFox or Chrome are better choices. In my opinion, FireFox is the best browser. Either way, you should also try and clear your cookies and cache. If that does not work you may need to delete your profile for IE completely, in which you will lose all settings so back up. If that does not work try uninstalling IE.

I have a very similar problem. Whenever I try to join a server the game manager instead of connecting will just say that my game and browser plug-in are now up to date. I looked online for help but couldn't find anyone having the same problem. Then I remembered that Chrome isn't the only browser I have installed. So I have my way around that issue but it still feels weird that I have to launch a separate browser every time I want to play the game.
