I've been playing battlefield 3 for a while and haven't had any problems except the other day. Now every time I stop playing the game and it shuts down to the desktop I get the error message saying bf3.exe has stopped responding every time. When I go to play it next and it launches it tells me I have no data save in my cloud. This is getting very frustrating and was wondering if anyone knew how to fix this problem.

Sorry but when I search for answers for you on " bf3.exe has stopped responding" I'm finding way to many "supposed fixes" one seems to work for some people & not other while another works for other but not every one,
Not even finding a true answer in EA's support section.
I'd strongly suggest contacting EA support, & they will need more more information then you have given us here ( just letting you know upfront)

I had that same error, when I disabled cloud saves in Origins, the error was gone, and if you use XFire, disable in game chat for BF3. Those will stop the crashing of BF3.exe, I had that error and thats how I fixed it.

I'd advise restarting your computer if you haven't already. If that doesn't work, try what others have said or contact EA.

Did you try this
First of all to take backup of your current game before applying this trick.
1. Open your BF3 installation folder, where you will be able to see your game directory like Battlefield™ have you notice the trailing “TM” symbol. Just remove it. ( So Battlefield™ => Battlefield ).
2. Now open regedit ( in run -> regedit ) and go to HKEY LOCAL MACHINE-SOFTWARE-WoW6432NodeEA Games just remove ™ trailing from all keys which you have seen here. ( Your installation folder may be different, so note that first).
3. If you not able to find EA Games in above regedit path just Use CTRL+F and find “EA Games”.
4 Reboot the system And you are done. (I would like to inform you that this trick work for me, I am not sure if it work for you or not.)
If After using above trick still your game is not working then I advise to reinstall your game and then try above trick. Well this trick work for me and I am not getting any error of Battlefield 3 Not Responding or BF3 is not responding.
